The higher-end models, such as the Wilier Zero SLR Disc, Wilier Zero SL Disc or Wilier Cento bikes, use disc brakes. The inexpensive models are often supplied with rim brakes in the basic equipment. If necessary, these can be converted. For recreational riders, the easy to change rim brakes are the better alternative. The more ambitious the rider, the more important disc brakes become. They have the clearly better braking power and require less effort. This pays off especially in racing, when seconds are at stake. They master tricky situations better, as well as adverse track conditions. Disc brakes are more expensive to buy, but they pay back through their powerful braking performance.
A hardtail MTB has a suspension fork, which has a different amount of travel depending on the area of use. A Fully has another damper on the rear triangle. This helps to absorb the shocks through roots and stones even better. This increases comfortable riding as well as safety. RockShox and Fox Factory are the preferred choice for suspensions.

The wheels are often from Miche, Vision and Shimano. The Wilier products also deliver a good figure, such as the Wilier HY-NDR28 wheelset. For the tires, one likes to rely on the rubber compounds of the neighbors from Italy. Among other things, the products of Pirelli and Vittoria are mounted, such as the Pirello Scorpion or the Vittoria Barzo.
