With the Scott Ransom your enduro ride becomes a pleasure
What is an enduro mountain bike
The main focus is on technical descents down the trails. However, Enduro bikes are also efficient enough in climbing to master upcoming climbs. The competitions are usually divided into planned downhill sections, with intermediate uphill sections. The uphill sections serve as a transition to the next ride downhill. A bike like the Scott Ransom needs to handle aggressive downhill riding. In addition, it needs enough power when it has to go back up.
The Ransom is available in several variants
In the new Ransom, emphasis was placed on being fast and good performance on the trail. To be better protected against flying parts, a protective bar has been added to the down tube and bottom bracket. The chainstays and seatstay have received noise-reducing protectors that allow a more comfortable ride.
The first edition of the Ransom was in 2006 and caused astonishment among the competition. The 160 mm travel front and rear was unusual until then. At that time, it was mostly still relied on the Scott Equalizer at the rear. Nowadays, the products of Fox and RockShox are found there.

Have I made the right choice with the Scott Ransom mountain bike
If you would rather have a different MTB, then Scott has even more divisions in the offer. The cross-country bikes are your friend, if you drive as often uphill as downhill. It doesn't let any obstacle rattle it too quickly. The trail bikes give you a lot of fun when you increasingly shoot down the slopes. If you want to go downhill as fast as possible, then get a downhill / dirt bike. The sporty MTBs give you the opportunity to explore the woods at a lower price.
With a lightweight road bike you will have fun racing up the switchbacks. An endurance bike is made for endurance and you sit comfortably in the saddle even after days of trips. Aero race bikes are perfectly made for best times. With good aerodynamics, drag becomes a foreign word.
Would you rather have a bike that performs equally well on loose surfaces and asphalt? Then a gravel bike is the right choice. City bikes are suitable for leisurely trekking tours and you can also rely on them in everyday life.
The Contessa series has been designed for the ladies. It was important that they are best designed for the demands of the ladies. They are available as road bikes, MTBs, gravel bikes and with motor.
The children's bikes have been divided into 3 categories. The Future Pro series is designed to introduce the next generation to the professional range. E-bikes are available in the categories Mountain, Road, Gravel, City and Touring. So you have a powerful motor to help when you run out of power.
