Cube Stereo - Excellent fullys for a wide range of uses
Cube was founded in 1993 and has always been based in Waldershof in the Fichtelgebirge. In addition to full-suspension mountain bikes, Cube also has hardtail MTBs in its range, as well as road bikes, city & tour bikes, urban mobility bikes, women's bikes and kids' bikes.
Cube also has several racing teams, including the Cube Action Team, which has been around since 2011 and can look back on 10 successful years. With a small but fine team, they also want to achieve some podium places and victories over the next few years and have created their own Action Team Bike series to honor their successes.
The Cube Stereo bikes are versatile, from endurance, trail, all-mountain to enduro use. They stand for riding comfort paired with speed and still have excellent handling, thanks to a modern chassis. The carbon frame not only impresses with its design, but also shines with its lightness, which reinforces the above-mentioned attributes.
The Cube Stereos are available as regular MTB full bikes, such as the Cube Stereo 120, Cube Stereo 140 and Cube Stereo 150, and as e-mountain bikes, the Cube Stereo Hybrid 120, Cube Stereo Hybrid 140 and Cube Stereo Hybrid 160. For the stereo bikes, Cube relies on the classic derailleur.
The Cube Stereo 120 MTB Fully is ideally suited for epic trips across the Alps, as well as for demanding trail tours, such as the Cube Stereo 120 HPC TM, Cube Stereo 120 HPC SLT, or the Cube Stereo 120 HPC EX. The size-split system also allows you to choose the smaller 27.5 inch tyres, which not only weigh less, but also glide even more agilely through the terrain, as well as accommodating smaller riders. The robust carbon frame has a high level of stiffness and didn't even have to make many compromises on weight, making it very versatile.
The Cube Stereo 140 is the perfect all-mountain bike, such as the Cube Stereo 140 HPA, Cube Stereo 140 HPC Race, Cube Stereo 140 HPC SLT, or even the Cube Stereo 140 HPC SL. The MTB Fully stands for maximum performance and is available in different frame sizes. The right model is available for beginners as well as advanced riders to enjoy optimal riding comfort. The pivots have been perfectly fitted into the design of the Cube Stereo 140 HPC frame, which, like the Stereo 120, shines with high stiffness. The cabling is housed inside the tubes, for better protection, improved handling and less work during maintenance. In addition, this also ensures an impressive appearance of the bike, no matter where you ride it.
The Cube Stereo 150 bikes, such as the Cube Stereo 150 C:68 SLT 29 or also Cube Stereo 150 C:62 TM, stand for universal use, whether it's all-mountain, enduro, downhill, or even for your ride through the bike park. It has improved traction control and a bit more power, so you can conquer any mountain, no matter how steep, and enjoy the descents in a rush of speed.
The Cube Stereo ONE77 not only has big wheels, but also plenty of suspension travel so you can escape gravity when you want to fly through the bike park again. The excellent suspension combined with the four-link design and the Agile Trail geometry will get you through any terrain without any discomfort. The Stereo ONE77 bikes from the 2022 model year are also available in XXL for more horizontal distance and also have a shortened seat tube.
With the tried and tested Stereo 120 kinematics and a revised fourth generation Bosch motor, the Cube Stereo Hybrid 120 E-MTB offers riding comfort, power and glides elegantly through the landscape for mountain bike tours of all kinds. The Stereo 120 e-bike is available, for example, as the Cube Stereo Hybrid 120 SLT, Stereo Hybrid 120 Pro Allroad, or also as the Stereo Hybrid 120 SL, among many other models.
With the Cube Stereo Hybrid 140 full-suspension e-mountain bike, like the Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC TM and other variants, a new benchmark has been set in the all-mountain sector. The Cube Stereo Hybrid 140 E-MTB, shines with good maneuverability, superb Bosch motor, with the Bosch Kiox 300 display, and takes riding pleasure to the next level.
The Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 E-MTB, like the Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC Action Team 750, has almost reinvented Enduro in the E-MTB sector. It was designed for racing and then put through its paces to achieve the highest possible level of perfection. With the help of the motor, which just hugs the frame, you not only go further, but also manage the steeper climbs with ease and achieve higher speeds along the way.
Since model year 2021, all Cube e-bikes have been unisex, i.e. there are no longer any differences in frame height for women and men, but the frames are simply designed according to body size, as it has also been proven that the difference between two male riders can be greater than between a man and a woman.
The components of the Cube Stereo Fullys have been carefully selected for best performance
Shimano and SRAM, which can now be found on almost every bike that holds its own, are in very good company with Newmen, Maxxis, Fox Racing, Fulcrum, RockShox, Magura, as well as Bosch and others, when it comes to the selected components for the Cube Stereo bikes. In addition, Cube's own innovations are also used, some of which have been designed specifically for bikes.
Gear groups & brakes
When it comes to the groupsets, which include the rear derailleur, front derailleur and crankset, Cube relies on the tried and tested quality of Shimano, such as the Shimano XT, Shimano Deore or SRAM, which has not been in the business for very long, but is now on a par with Shimano in terms of quality. For example, the SRAM GX Eagle and the SRAM NX Eagle are used. The disc brakes come from Shimano, as does Magura, with the Shimano XT, or the Magura MT7.
Shock
The suspension fork comes from either RockShox or Fox, such as the RockShox Recon Gold RL Air, RockShox Pike Ultimate RC2, RockShox Lyrik Select, Tapered, Fox 34 Rhythm, 2-Position Sweep-Adjust GRIP Damper, Fox 36 Float Factory FIT4, or also the Fox 38 Float Performance GRIP suspension fork.
For the rear shock, the products of these high-quality manufacturers are also used, such as the RockShox Deluxe Select+ or RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ DebonAir, as well as the Ultimate, Fox Float DPS EVOL and Fox Float X Factory rear shocks.
Saddle / seatpost and handlebars / wheels
The saddle, such as the Natural Fit Venec Lite or the Natural Fit Nuance Lite, come from Cube's own research department, as does the Cube Dropper Post seatpost.
The handlebars are mostly from Newmen and Race Face, such as the Newmen Evolution SL, Newmen Advanced 318, Race Face Turbine R 35 and also the Race Face Chester 35. For the stem, the Cube Performance Stem E-MTB is used, among others.
The wheel size can either be 27.5" or 29", and Cube likes to use quality tyres from Maxxis or Schwalbe, such as the Maxxis Forekaster EXO Tubeless Ready, Schwalbe Nobby Nic, Maxxis Minion DHF Dual/EXO Tubeless Ready, Maxxis Minion DHR II, Dual/EXO, Tubeless Ready, or the Schwalbe Smart Sam.
