In the field of mountain bikes a distinction is made between hardtail MTB and MTB fully. As trail / enduro bikes Rose has the full-suspension Ground Control bikes. In addition they have the Root Miller enduro & trail bike including the Rose Root Miller 2 or Rose Root Miller 3. The Rose Bonero is not an MTB fully but still holds up very well as a trail / enduro bike. These bikes are very versatile and real all-rounders or all-mountain bikes. They master steep climbs just as with flying colors as the subsequent descent down the trail. The Ground Control as well as the Root Miller leave almost nothing to be desired.

For those who prefer to ride a freeride bike the Rose Soul Fire is ideally suited: such as the Rose Soul Fire 1, Rose Soul Fire DH or even the Rose Soul Fire 3.

No matter which mountain bike you ultimately pick it is extremely important to always pay attention to the right frame size. Otherwise joy about the purchased bike may quickly turn into frustration. History

The company Rose has been around for more than 100 years and was founded in 1907. Nevertheless it took quite a while until the first Rose bike, with model year 2011, came on the market. In the meantime they have imported and sold bikes from other brands. Among them were Red Bull bikes from Canada or bikes from Japan. Rose is based in Bocholt where they also opened the Rose Biketown and where you can see a variety of Rose bikes.

However the last few years they have put the focus on the development and production of their own bikes and there is now a wide range of Rose bikes. In addition to the mountain bikes including E-MTB Rose has other bikes on offer. Among them you will find road bikes, gravel bikes, fitness bikes, travel bikes, trekking bikes and urban bikes for urban use. In addition Rose offers a range of e-bikes. Either to cover more kilometers or not to avoid more routes that come up with unpleasant climbs.

In terms of components, there is something for the beginner to the professional

Rose relies almost exclusively on suppliers for the components for its mountain bikes. The energy and diversity of ideas of the developers are used for the optimal frame design or the frame geometry. Shimano, SRAM, RockShox, DT Swiss, Schwalbe, Newmen, Selle Italia, Reverse, Formula and all the other manufacturers have years of experience in their respective fields.

Groupsets / brakes / drive systems

• Rose mostly uses components from Shimano and SRAM for the groupsets: such as the Shimano XTR or also the SRAM Eagle AXS. Also for the brakes these two manufacturers are the preferred choice and Rose relies only on modern disc brakes for their novelties. 

• Especially in the mountain bike area the transition to disc brakes went off earlier, about 5 years ago, since the efficiency despite the extra weight was appreciated here ahead of time. This was or is extremely important where it depends on every little extra braking power.

• For steep trails and long rides through challenging terrain you can choose an e-bike with a motor. The E-MTB, like the Root Miller Plus, is equipped with the 4th generation Bosch Performance Line CX.

Damper

• For the shock, rear and front, they rely almost exclusively on the quality of RockShox and Fox: like the RockShox Deluxe Select+ or Fox Float 36 Factory Series. Depending on the bike group such as trail bike, enduro MTB, cross-country mountain bike, etc., the bikes have different suspension travel. This starts at just under 100 mm and goes up to 200 mm as with downhill bikes. The properly adjusted spring ensures that you get safely through the terrain. It also offers maximum riding comfort even if it gets a little bumpier.

Saddle / Seatpost / Handlebar & Stem

• Selle Italia is the preferred saddle choice at Rose which is also reflected in the Rose Edition by Selle Italia. For the seatpost the products of E*Thirteen, Newmen or Level Nine Race are used. For handlebars and stem in turn, they like to rely on the components of Reverse. Partially also products from Newmen or Race Face are used. For the optimum seating position these components must be matched to the size of the rider. It will give you best results while maintaining good handling. 

Wheels / Tires

• When it comes to wheels Rose has usually chosen a wheelset: such as Sunringlé Düroc 30 Comp, Sunringlé Düroc 35 Comp, DT Swiss XM 1700 Spline or DT Swiss FR1950 Classic. If you like you can put together your own wheels if you have a good feel for what's best for your riding style. 

• When it comes to tires Rose has chosen high-quality tires from Schwalbe, Maxxis or even Continental: the Schwalbe Big Betty Evolution, Schwalbe Magic Mary Evolution, Maxxis Assegai, Maxxis Minion DHR as well as the Continental Mountain King.

Additional equipment

• For more extreme tours it is advisable to have the right protective clothing such as helmets or protectors and enough storage space for water bottles as well as some tools. Rose also has its own clothing collection in their online store in addition to a variety of other accessories.

With which of the Rose full suspension mountain bikes should I fulfill my MTB wish

Rose road bikes are available as race and endurance bikes. For gravel bikes you've got 4 different Rose Backroad models which you can use ideally for bikepacking. Also in the fitness and urban bikes Rose has several models to choose from as well as the trekking bikes. For longer adventures Rose offers an extra travel section with 3 different Backroad Randonneur variants.
