From the production of frames to own company:
In the early 90s, Jochim Aerts spent a few years as a frame builder for Belgian bicycle manufactures under the name Race Productions NV. In 1997 he decided to manufacture bikes himself under Ridley Bikes.

Derailleur groups & brakes
- Switching groups: The choice of shift groups falls among others on the Shimano GRX 800, Shimano Ultegra, SRAM Rival AXS as well as SRAM Rival eTap AXS or even the Campagnolo Ekar. Mechanical shift groups are cheaper than their electronic counterparts.

For racing, a sporty outfit and a water bottle are often sufficient. For off-road rides, in addition to waterproof clothing, some tools, provisions and a spare tube are always good to have.

What is the best way to equip my Ridley Bike
